For each session, students will work developing a manual for a unique low-tech, low-cost and profitable solution for handling aquaculture waste at Edward’s farm. Classes include cultural immersion and direct communication with Edward and his team.
Natural Art
Wednesdays, 2:30-4:30
(HCC Willow Building)
Taking a hands-on and creative approach to sustainability, students will make their own art materials and learn to use them. We’ll make charcoal sticks, natural dyes and paints, soap, paper, woven goods and explore creative recycling of plastic bags. Sessions take a multi-disciplinary approach: while exploring their creative side, students learn the science and historical context of a range of materials.
